On July 27, IQMH bids farewell to Maureen Singh who has worked with IQMH for 28 years since joining the Laboratory Proficiency Testing Program (LPTP) in 1990, at that time a department of the Ontario Medical Association.
Maureen has worked with many of our scientific committees and has a long and steady career supporting quality improvement in healthcare. Maureen has been a great team player and an asset supporting the objectives of LPTP, the Quality Management Program—–Laboratory Services (QMP–LS) and IQMH, pitching in projects over and above her demanding work in the Centre for Proficiency Testing as a Senior Administrative Assistant.
After 28 years of relentless work and attention to detail, Maureen is starting a new chapter in her life where she will dedicate her time and energy to her family and her hobbies. Her commitment to work and invaluable experience will no doubt be missed by the many scientific committee members, Consultant Technologists and staff members who Maureen has worked with over the years. On behalf of all of us at IQMH, we wish to extend our very best wishes to Maureen for a happy and well-deserved retirement.
As we say good-bye to one team member, we welcome another! On July 9, 2018, Mantha Kumaresh joined IQMH as Senior Administrative Assistant, Centre for Proficiency Testing. Mantha is eager to learn the ropes and will be working closely with Maureen in the following weeks to get oriented with the job. Welcome to the team, Mantha!
