National Volunteer Week: Celebrating the impact of IQMH proficiency testing volunteers

By Editor on 4/16/2023

National Volunteer WeekIQMH selects consultant expertise to support the credibility, impartiality, and excellence of its programs.

IQMH Proficiency Testing has a scientific committee for each laboratory medicine discipline made up of volunteers that include laboratory physicians, scientists, and medical laboratory technologists. These experts, in collaboration with IQMH Proficiency Testing Consultant Technologists, provide technical and clinical advice to the program regarding the design of the proficiency testing survey model, selection of testing material, criteria for performance assessment, provision of educational comments and feedback to participants.

With appreciation, we thank all the IQMH Proficiency Testing Scientific Committee Members who dedicate their knowledge and time to the proficiency testing programs. It is because of the incredible work undertaken on the scientific committees that IQMH can provide quality proficiency testing programs to improve medical diagnostic testing in health care.

National Volunteer Week runs April 16-22. Follow the IQMH news blog and social media channels to learn more about the great work of proficiency testing scientific committee members.
