IQMH Proficiency Testing (PT) programs have been accredited since 2010 by the American Association for Laboratory Accreditation (A2LA) to ISO 17043 Conformity assessment — General requirements for proficiency testing.
The assessment was held remotely from April 12th–14th with two A2LA assessors (audit team). The programs were thoroughly examined and assessed against 25 categories of technical and management requirements including design of schemes, evaluation of results, document control, confidentiality, and customer service.
The assessors commended everyone for their commitment and dedication to Proficiency Testing. They noted through their interviews with the team that the IQMH staff members have a true love and compassion for the work that they do, their programs and their clients.
During the audit, one nonconformity was noted regarding the demonstration of testing material stability for some surveys. We welcome the opportunity to further improve our programs and we are working on the corrective action and response to A2LA which is due May 31st. We are confident in our ability to meet this requirement and look forward to a positive response from A2LA.
The accreditation process and the successful outcome provides IQMH Proficiency Testing clients with elevated confidence that our programs are conducted competently, and in accordance with internationally specified technical and quality management system requirements. This differentiator in our service is just one of the ways that we provide value to our clients.
