Many of you have been engaged in some part of the laboratory accreditation cycle, whether it be preparing for an upcoming assessment, providing documents, records, objective evidence, investigating, or implementing opportunities for improvement. IQMH is no exception.
Did you know that IQMH Proficiency Testing programs are accredited? Since 2010, IQMH Proficiency Testing programs have been accredited by the American Association for Laboratory Accreditation (A2LA) to ISO 17043 Conformity assessment — General requirements for proficiency testing.
This spring we will undergo an assessment of our management, planning, design, personnel, quality assurance, and confidentiality processes to renew our 4-year certificate.
The assessment will be virtual this year, and we are all actively engaged with preparing our evidence to ensure the assessment goes smoothly.
The accreditation process by A2LA will provide you, our valued Proficiency Testing clients, with elevated confidence that our program is conducted competently and in accordance with specified technical and quality management system requirements.
