Representing IQMH at the 68th American Association for Clinical Chemistry (AACC) Annual Scientific Meeting & Clinical Lab Expo was Dr. Paul Yip, vice-chair of the IQMH Chemistry & Enzymes Scientific committee. Using IQMH Centre for Proficiency Testing survey data, he presented a poster that illustrated findings from a study that showed the ongoing need for standardized creatinine measurements. The poster was very well-received and IQMH is thrilled to be part of this event that showcases breakthrough innovations in clinical testing and patient care, attracting members of the healthcare industry from all over the globe.
Blood cell morphologic identification is a critical component of hematology laboratory practice, and is an important diagnostic aid. Maintaining technical competency and achieving consistent reporting practices are ongoing challenges in this area. Developed by the IQMH Hematology Committee, our Blood Cell Morphology wall charts are a great addition to your laboratory. IQMH is offering the laminated wall charts through the IQMH store.
