The XXXII International Symposium on Technical Innovations in Laboratory Hematology (ISLH) was held in Vancouver, Canada on May 9–11 and IQMH was there! Representing our organization was our very own Anna Johnston, Consultant Technologist, Centre for Proficiency Testing. The Mount Sinai Hospital Pathology and Laboratory Medicine Department and Schulich School of Medicine and Dentistry, Western University, with the support of the Institute for Quality Management in Healthcare, are collaborating once again to develop a continuing professional development day in cytopathology for cytotechnologists and pathologists. This year’s Bédard lecturer is Dr. Eva Wojcik, Chair of Loyola University’s Department of Pathology, and co-author of The Paris System for urinary cytopathology.
