The GENE-1903-PP patterns-of-practice survey will be available to Ontario laboratories licensed for cytogenetics testing as well as cytogenetics laboratories across Canada. Analysis worksheets will be posted in the Active Forms and Worksheets section of QView™ March 4, 2019. The due date for the survey is March 15, 2019, midnight.
This survey will follow up on GENE-1609-PP results in order to assess trends in the availability and methodology used for the detection of common aneuploidies and other genomic imbalances in prenatal and perinatal testing in Canadian cytogenetics laboratories. This survey will not include prenatal/perinatal referrals for single gene molecular genetic disorders.
All cytogenetics laboratories in Canada are invited to complete the questionnaire. Participation in the survey is considered mandatory for all laboratories in Ontario currently licensed by the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care for cytogenetics testing.
If you have any questions or wish to confirm participation in the survey, please contact Tammy Ashfield at firstname.lastname@example.org or 416-323-9540 ext. 262.
