- Chemistry | Ammonia and Serum Volatiles (CHEM-ASV)
Designed for laboratories performing ammonia, toxic alcohol, ketone, and volatile compound testing. This survey evaluates analytical performance across key toxicology markers, including ammonia, ethanol, methanol, isopropanol, acetone, ethylene glycol and beta-hydroxybutyrate.
- Pathology | Site Material: Special Stains (PATH-SM)
Participants prepare and submit stained challenge slides and in-house control slides using materials prepared at their own site. Assessment focuses on microtomy technique and staining quality for routine Oversight (H&E/HPS) and Alkaline Congo Red stains.
- Transfusion Medicine | Manual Eluate (TMED-ELU)
Evaluates a laboratory’s ability to eluate, detect, and identify antibodies eluted from red blood cells. The survey supports quality assessment of testing performed during investigations of positive DATs, transfusion reactions, and immune hemolytic conditions.
